The Auto Women Queensland Scholarship supports women working in the automotive industry to strengthen their leadership capability, expand their professional networks and unlock new career opportunities.

Proudly supported by Care Super, MTA Queensland and Performastery, the scholarship provides access to industry-specific leadership development programs designed to help women thrive and progress within the automotive sector.

About the Scholarship

Each year, the Auto Women Queensland Scholarship provides eligible women with access to professional leadership development opportunities through Auto Women’s flagship programs.

Scholarship recipients may undertake either:

  • SPRINT HURDLES: A leadership development program for emerging leaders, supervisors and those looking to build confidence and capability in leadership roles.
  • ASCENSION: An executive leadership development program for experienced leaders ready to strengthen their strategic leadership skills and prepare for senior leadership opportunities.

Assessment Rounds & Eligibility

Applications are accepted throughout the year and assessed twice annually.

  • Applications received by 31 March will be assessed in Round 1.
  • Applications received by 31 October will be assessed in Round 2.


To be eligible for a Queensland Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Reside in Queensland or the Northern Rivers region; and
  • Meet the eligibility requirements for their selected program.

    Terms and Conditions of Entry:
    • Scholarship recipients will be selected by an assessment panel appointed by Auto Women and the relevant scholarship sponsor. The panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • Applications must be submitted online and include all required information. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information to support their application.
    • Supporting documentation, including references, resumes, qualifications and other relevant materials, may be submitted as part of the application and may assist the assessment process.
    • Only one application per scholarship opportunity may be submitted during each assessment round.
    • By submitting an application, applicants confirm that the information provided is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge.
    • Applicants consent to their application, supporting documentation and personal information being shared with Auto Women, the relevant scholarship sponsor(s), and the program provider for the purposes of administering, assessing, promoting and delivering the scholarship program.
    • Successful applicants may be required to participate in promotional activities, including the use of their name, photograph, business name and scholarship outcomes in marketing and communications relating to the scholarship program.
    • Auto Women reserves the right to verify the eligibility of applicants and to amend, suspend or cancel a scholarship round where necessary.
    • Submission of the scholarship application form constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
