What is Auto Women?
Auto Women is a national initiative dedicated to empowering women in the automotive industry. We aim to support, inspire, and connect women across all sectors of the automotive trades and professions – whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned professional.
Who is the program for?
Auto Women is open to anyone working in or studying towards a career in the automotive industry. This includes trades, sales, admin, marketing, management, education, and more.
Is Auto Women just for technicians or tradespeople?
Not at all! While we support women in technical trades, the program is for all women in the automotive industry – whether you’re on the tools, working in the office, managing a team, or running a business.
What kind of support does Auto Women offer?
Auto Women offers a range of opportunities and resources including:

- Scholarships and leadership development

How old do I need to be to become a member?
There are no age requirements! Whether you’re a student, apprentice, business owner, or industry leader – you’re welcome to join.
I’m a male ally - can I be involved?
Absolutely. We welcome and encourage allies who want to support and promote gender diversity in the automotive industry. You can follow our work, attend events, and help spread the word.
How can my business support Auto Women?
There are several ways businesses can get involved:

Can we invite Auto Women to speak at our event?
Yes! Members of the Auto Women Steering Team bring diverse experience from across the industry and can speak on a range of topics.
