Auto Women’s Queensland Chapter is proudly led by the Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTA Queensland). From networking events to scholarship opportunities, we’re here to support our Queensland members to grow, connect, and thrive in the automotive industry.

Currently in Queensland, women represent just 2% of mechanics (Jobs and Skills Australia, 2024), and only around 8% of automotive apprentices are female (NCVER, 2024). Auto Women is committed to changing that – by supporting tradeswomen, office professionals, and everyone in between to pursue rewarding careers and increase female representation across all areas of the automotive sector.
