About Auto Women
Auto Women was founded in 2022 by the Motor Trades Association of Queensland and expanded nationally in 2025. Our mission is to create a supportive and empowering environment for women across the automotive industry – providing opportunities to connect, grow, and thrive in their careers.

- Raising the profile of women across the automotive industry
- Advocating for change by representing women’s voices on key issues to government and industry stakeholders
- Promoting career pathways for women, while highlighting the benefits of diversity to employers
- Hosting events – both virtual and in-person – that connect, educate, and support women throughout their careers

Our Auto Women Ambassadors are passionate, driven women from across the automotive industry who are committed to supporting and empowering others. They come from all sectors – mechanical, motorsport, sales, administration, education, marketing and more – and are connected by their shared commitment to building a more inclusive and supportive industry for all women.
